Born March 13, 1976 ..she won the World Girls Under 12 Championship in Romania1988..She won the World Junior Girls Chess Championship in 1994 and 1996.

At the age of 25 she defeated Alexandra Kosteniuk of Russia   for the 2001/2002 Women's World Chess Championship, by 5-3, becoming the ninth champion. in 2002 she defeated Ruslan Ponomariov and For the first time in the history of any sport, the Woman's World Champion has defeated the Men's World Champion. in 2005 she defeated Irina Krush to take the Accoona Women's Championship at the ABC Times Square Studios, NYC.

Born on the 31st of March 1987 at Gudivada. After taking the world by storm by clinching the World Chess titles in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age groups, Humpy got an International Master title in the year 1999 at the age of 12 years. In the year 2001 she won the World Junior Chess Championship. At Doha Asian Games 2006, Koneru Humpy won two Gold Medals in the Individual as well as Team event of Chess.

Born 1 January 1987..As a junior player, she showed early promise by winning the World Girls Under-12 Championship in 1999...she also claimed the gold medal at the World Girls Under 20 Championship in 2003, 2 points ahead of the field. She has been a regular board two for Georgia's Women's Olympiad team and helped them reclaim the gold medal at Dresden in 2008, In July 2010 she won the women's Grand Prix tournament.

Born April 19, 1979) is a Bulgarian chess grandmaster, and a former Women's World Chess Champion. She became the twelfth holder of that title in 2004 in a 64-player knockout tournament held in Elista, Kalmykia. At the age of seven, Stefanova became a Sofia champion. She has played for Bulgaria in five Chess Olympiads so far, starting in Manila, the Philippines, in 1992 when she was just 13.

Born on April 23, 1963 in Stockholm, Sweden. Since the early 1980s, she has been one of the strongest female players in the world. She regularly plays on the Swedish (Men's) team in the World Chess Olympiads, one of only three women to regularly play on the "men's" teams. In 1992, she was awarded the title of grandmaster. She won the 2003 women's European Individual Chess Championship. which she repeated on 2010 in Rijeka,Croatia.

Maya Chiburdanidze was born on January 17, 1961 in Kutaisi, Georgia. She started playing chess around the age of 8. In 1974, when she was only 13 years old, she won the Brasov women's international tournament. She showed she was a serious contender for the world title by finishing in 2nd place in the Tbilisi Women's Interzonal of 1976, thereby qualifying for the 1977 candidates matches. She made it all the way to the Candidates Final where she defeated Alla Kushnir 7.5-6.5 to setup a world title match in Bichvinta, Georgia with the reigning Women's World Champion, Nona Gaprindashvili. Chiburdanize stunned the world of women's chess by winning the match with a score of 8.5 to 6.5. She became the 7th women's world chess champion at the age of 17..She is the only chess player in history who has won nine Chess Olympiads.

In 1998 Sebag won the European Youth Chess Championship (girls under-12), a feat she repeated the next year (girls U14) and in 2002 (girls U16).  she won the French Chess Championship for women in 2000 and 2002.. In 2004 she shared first place in the World Youth Chess Championship in the category girls U18. In 2006 she reached the quarter-finals during the Women's World Chess Championship.

She played for Armenia in the Chess Olympiads of 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006,2008 and 2010and in the World Women's Team Championships of 2007 and 2009. In 2003 Danielian won the European Women's Team Chess Championship. She won Armenian Woman Chess Championship in 1993, 1994, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2004. In 2009 she came =2nd at Women Grand Prix in Istanbul.
