The QATAR CHESS ASSOCIATION (QCA) with the support of AAB Company is pleased to invite all Rated players with rating under 2200 to Participate in The AAB Chess Open2018 Championship , be held at the 5th floor, Toyota Tower C-Ring Road from April 19th to April 21st 2018 .
يدعوكم الاتحاد القطري للشطرنج للمشاركة في بطولة عبد الله عبد الغني وأخوانه المفتوحة للشطرنج والتي ينظمها الاتحاد بالتعاون مع شركة تويوتا خلال الفترة من 19-21 / 4 / 2018 بمبنى شركة تويوتا الدور الخامس .

Rules and Regulations
Number of rounds: 5 rounds, Swiss System
Time control: Fischer 60 min+30 sec/move for the whole game. All moves must be written on the scoresheet.
Tolerance: 30 minutes tolerance in case of late arrival. The game is lost if the player arrives 30 minutes late from the start of the respective round.
Prizes: Total amount= 8000QR / Top 5, Best Junior (U20), Best Female, Best U12
TOP 5 :
1- 1- 2000
2- 2- 1500
3- 3-1000
4- 4-650
5- 5-450
Best Junior : 800 , Best Female : 800 , Best U12 : 800
In case of equal number of points, the prizes will be awarded according to the Swiss-System tie-breaks and there will be no sharing. A player can’t receive more than one prize.
FIDE Anti-Cheating Regulations: As per FIDE Laws of Chess, no electronic device is allowed during the game. Players are not allowed to use their mobile phone during the game.
